Hello everybody. Last year we race with LRP tyres on carpet and I had a very great and fast setup. This year we race with Ride 34, and the new T4 Xray, and I still can't find a good setup. My car is a lot of slow in harpain slow corners. I don't know why. I tried a lot of radical changes setups, but still the car is too slow in this corners compare with other cars. I think the problem must be in the assembly car, may be... This is my setup: xform/index.php?act=view&ID=289&setup=t4_2014 Any idea? Thank you very much. |

Too much rear grip it sounds like, Looking at your setup it should make a lot of rear grip, Personally I would return it to a more kit carpet setup as I have only had to make minor droop changes, anti dive and added/removed the centre post to run varying tyres at 3 tracks, Anti dive helped on ride 30's but have ran without. |

I have found the 2 great problems. Last year with LRP I used 25º max steering lock with NO ECS shaft in the front. This make not vibration in the car. But with the new T4'14, I was using the aluminium steering linkage that you can get about 28-29º max of steering lock. Using this and not using ECS shaft, my car brake a lot in slow corners for vibration... The other problem is I was using a 1.3 front roll bar, but the bar of T3, that is longer in the bend from the roll bar of the t4'14. In the rear the same problem, using the 1.3 roll bar of the T3 car. I resolve these 2 problems and the car is too much faster. Thank you for your help. Regards. |

i ran this set up on a very small track so needed a lot of entry.mid and exit, the rear was slightly loose but helped it to turn into the tightest turns, the track i ran on was designed for gt12 racing so very narrow, this was on sorex 28jb's xform/index.php?act=view&ID=150&setup=t4_2014 |
