Hi, I have been racing at my club for quite a while and bought an xray over Christmas and I must say it is a brilliant car, anyway onto the subject, my car lacks steering at high speed especially on sweepers, low speed it is great, my setup is extremely similar to the following, although I did try running 1mm washers on the front turnbuckles inboard and outboard. xform/index.php?act=view&ID=26&setup=t4_2014 We are running rubber tyres on carpet (32 jb) tyres on every other track my car is awesome just this one it lacks steering. The rear end is very stable. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Chris |

First thing I would try, provided there is enough grip is stiffer rear springs. Skiddins |

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried stiffer springs on the rear (2.6) instead of 2.5 and it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference, however I will try it again to see how much difference it makes. Thanks Chris |

If you have enough grip, try 2.7's, they make a difference on asphalt |

In what position are your bodyshell and wing mounted? This will make a big difference to the HS steering. Look at moving the body and/or wing forwards. A 6mm to 10mm gap between the shell and bumper is normal for the Speed6. |

Hi, Thanks for the response, yes I am using a mazda speed 6,not sure about how far forward the shell is, but the wing is cut to the high line, which I guess wouldn't help much on high speed steering. I might try cutting it down to the low line. Thanks Chris |

Reduce rear camber Thinner diff oil (gives more initial steering less mid and exit) 1piece rf block Screw back into lay shaft mount Narrower rear end reduce the width A few things To try |
