The T1 series will continue to be well supported. The FK05 is a piece of art in terms of performance and quality and there will be club level or even national level drivers winning in the next year/years with the FK05 and as such car deserves perfect back-up, XRAY will provide as usually nothing less just a perfect service and support of the T1 series. XRAY has no plans to discontinue spares for T1 series. |

I had an FK05 and absolutely LOVED it. Way sufficient for mid-level club racing. Obviously the newer cars are faster, but they are also more fragile (thinner CWF parts, lightened stuff...). the FK05 is built like a TANK and is the perfect car for a 1st-time (young) racer. If in good shape, your younger bro will love it. |

Thanks to all for the feedback, that's what I was looking for. As far as the parts are concerned, I've been buying parts for my T3's from A Main Hobbies, it looks like their parts on the T1 are limited, where's a good place that would carry and stock parts for the T1? |

I would advice your brother to save some more money and get a T3. I sold my T3 for only 90 pounds last year together with a few sets of tyres. At least it will be easy for him to find spare parts. Specially if your brother is new to R/C racing he will probably crash a lot ot times at the beginning which means he may have to search for parts quite often. |
