With the way things are going it looks like we could have a wet start to the out door racing. What's the best way to set the T4-14 for wet racing |

i dont have a dedicated wet car so all i would do would be to go from 2.7's to 2.5's and remove the roll bars add a set of wets/inters on,and maybe a bodyshell for more steering if thats not enough then lower the roll centers |

Hey, I havent yet ran the t4-14 in the rain yet but a few ideas. Remeber testing in the wet is difficult as track constantly changes but here are a few scenarios. Reduce camber as the track gets wetter/more puddles Raise ride height as the track gets wetter/more puddles, remember when increasing ride height increase droop also to keep droop over ride height the same. Gear diff can work well in front as long as track has no puddles. 1.6mm topdeck for a little more flex. Change wing to a regular thickness if body is fitted with light weight wing that is supplied with bodies, mr33 wing will work well apart from that generally a little softer helps. Hope this helps. I'm new to wet racing, so what water proofing is needed for sensor lead + sensor board, motor, servo, power caps reciever and battery? Anyone got a recomendation for a speedo that is better suited for the wet? Bb |
