Looking to pick this up for my 8yO son. Need to run a Reedy 5000 lipo in it. I dont see anything in the manual that shows topbrace height - but I have read a lot that say this could be an issue. Its rubber on carpet, so chassis stiffness is not an issue, lipos now are weighted pretty good, so not sure I want to put one of those brass trays in. Anything I need to consider - or anything I can still get that would help me with getting this running with a std HC lipo? James |

You may be ok with a 5000 pack but anything bigger would foul the top deck. I have aT2 009 with Lipo conversion which is basically the front and rear pieces of a top deck placed under the actual top deck as spacers, wouldn't be too hard to make if not still available, would advise some retainers T3/4 |
