Post subject: | ESC Wires |
Hello Together I have become my new ESC and i have solder the Wires to the ESC. I always afraid to damage the ESC when i solder the wires. To solder the wires must stay longer than 5 sec on the pin. And the Temperature of the ESC is not hot but warm. How do I know if it is damaged? Can you measure that? The controller works fine, but I was not yet on the track. I think if he runs is all ok ? Thanks for Help |

Should be fine provided the soldering iron was not on the ESC for too long. Think about how hot the ESC gets when you are running it. |

5 sec is ok unless you directly touch something sensitive. The best is to prepare and preheat all parts, make sure to put solder on the wire etc, have a really hot solder iron so the time needed is shorter. |
