Using 64p, largest i used was a 47 but don't think that was the linit. This was with 92 spur. Smaller spur is tough. I had to take some material of the top deck to get the motor close enough. |

Ok thanks. Im running 17.5 blinky and am looking for an fdr around 4. I think ill be using a 62t spur, has anyone tried this we have a 30t pinion to see if it fits? |

the largest pinion that you can get to fit is a 43,but that needs a ball end driver as it just gets in the way of the motor mount screws,a 42 is ok with a normal driver,anything above 38 and you need to remove top deck screws to gain access,for blinky most seem to go from 66 to a 70 spur,i run 36/68 for an fdr of 3.59 32/68 in 48dp will give 4.04 i dont know if others will agree with me but i find with a smaller pinion the brakes are better than using a large pinion with a 68 spur you get the fdr range from 2.8 to around 5.5 |
