Hi guys, i'm a tottaly newbie into driving RC, but i fell in love with the EVO2 and bought one ![]() Well here goes nothing, i got about 1 hour of driving experience when it comes to driving this type of car and i got some experience driving nitro 1:8 cars... well the the thing is that i just signed up for a race(beginner class) this weekend and i need some newbie setup tips, don't get too technical if u decide to give a silly man some help ![]() So if any one can think of something please tell(besides bringing some beers) ![]() The race is gonna take place on a carpet track. Cheers from denmark |

well first of all I would suggest you to start with the car straight out of the box ![]() You can make some minor changes at the race. |

ok, mostly i use 30 wt oil 3 holes, white springs front and rear ( sometimes light blue front ) shocks on outside shocktower, outside on suspension arms. High roll centre's hole in bulkhead, front 5 mm rear 5,5 mm ride height 2.5 or 3 degree toe in at rear and a protoform Stratus 1 body shell. This is the set - up I allways start with. Normally this works fine and need sometimes a little change to get a better feeling on the car. |
