Post subject: | How to Gear the T1 for Stock Motors? |
Our track is a technical one with approx. 100ft of straight. Its asphalt but a bit uneven and also not very grippy. We have racers using ratios as low as 5.1 and we are in the tropics with very high temp. I am using a T1 running a Yokomo RST at 5.98 and it looks slow and the race is 4 days away. HELP!!!! |

Is it slow on the straight, in the infield or both? |

Tested the car again this afternoon. Quite satisfied ![]() FYI, tonyv, the motor is new, the chassis rolls smoothly without kinks, the suspension arms without shocks attached are moving freely. I think it is gearing. Been trying standard X-ray spurs all along. Used a kyosho 86T spur today. ![]() Grip has been improving as I made the shock more tilted inwards. Still wondering if it could be better. Been reading the Hudy setup manual for additional info. Any advice on this ? Thank u all for the advice. |
