i would try filing the battery slots a little so that the cells will sit slightly lower in the car i did this to my t1 evo2 and it made difference it will give you a lower center of gravity if you look in the tips and tricks section then it shows you how to file the battery slots i know in the picture it is the fko5 model but you still do the same with all other models also

The FK04 layshaft is very light, and so is the spur gear. The top deck on the FK04 is LOWER than the top deck on the FK05. So while it is possible that the FK05 has a lower CG, I doubt the effect is huge.

The main points in the FK05 are the weight being closer to the axial centerline of the car, and the motor's torque reaction being closer to the front of the car.

i have just remembered also that on the fko4 if you run the biggest spur you can then that will lower the center of gravity also as it makes the motor sit lower in the chassis
