Took apart my front axles/dogbones etc the other day to find they were completely dry and even appeared rusty! (well ok the orange colour is from the dogbone rubbing against the axle hub) With the reports of dry diffs, failing axial bearings, orange dust... I am thinking its time to lay the blame on this stuff XRay calls grease... I know I for sure won't trust that stuff again. |

Ugh... Last night I actually snapped a dogbone... Where the shaft meets the "ball" at the axle hub. I didn't hit anything that hard when it actually happened, though perhaps it had been cracked previously, perhaps even days/weeks ago. |

wow i have never ever heard of a axel being broken, as to the red dust it isn't rust, just a coating from the axel shedding off. |
