Hi Dan, you could try this . It is using the new system (FK05) but it is supposed to record a T1R set up. The key things are that it is a spool based set up and it rocked. I have got the 1.77 low ratio internals on my T1R - I don't know many people now who haven't. Also I am running the short arms all round. You can download a manual from Hope this helps Rob |

Hi There is no big difference between 2,125 and 1.77. But if you like to run Stock as well, it coudnt be wrong to switch to 1,77. Also the drivetrain gets a little bit more efficient because of the larger pullys on the middle shaft. You can´t just take a setup from an FK´05 or FK´04 because the T1R has long arms. It´s possible to convert the racer to the short arms, but for the beginning they are good enought. About Setup: Try the following. Front Suspension Roll Center holders down. Shocks: 30 oil Xray with 3 holes open Spring: for the beginning take the blue one from the rear. 2mm shim under the front upper camber link Rear: Roll Center holders in upper position Shocks: 30 oil Xray with 3 holes open 2mm shim under the camber link Shocks 2nd hole from the potside on the shock tower and the middle hole on the arms. Try to get a white Xray spring for the rear. The rest like it is in the manual Body: I would suggest a Protoform Mazda 6 or a dodge 3 ALex |
