Hey, Is there any plans for a economy minded, tub chassis version of the T1FK05 to be released. A lot of XRay customers in the United States are highly interested in purchasing an FK05 but do not have the money to do so. Plus, some people want a tub-chassis car for pavement running anyway. An economized version of the FK05 would likely sell pretty good Thanks -Dan |

I agree with BlackKat. Got some question about that on a fair in Holland. And yes I agree with harshguy that the '05 rocks ![]() But R&D made a good T1R based on the '04, so they can do it again, for the potential customers with less 'buying-power' ![]() |

Ah shut up Javier....you just don't want me to be able to afford to keep up with you! LOL j/k Tub version of the FK05 would rock! It'd probably come out pretty much the same (just tub-chassied) I know for a fact I'd buy one. I already have an 04 but guys I used to be able to beat easily are starting to close in on me with FK05's |

I guess what I was trying to say is that if they changes to a "tub chassis" seems to me a lot of things would change (i.e. wieght, suspension geometry, etc, etc) ...things I can't even imagine since I don't design/make r/c cars for a living. So it would entail the same process of design/R&D/testing/etc... I don't see how the ending result would be a cheaper car. I'd rather things as they are, a killer car (the FK05) and if you want it bad enough, skip extra sizing your McDonold's meals for a couple of months to make up the difference. |

I've been running my FK 05 on asphalt for weeks now and I only have minimal scratches that can be sanded and polished if I wanted to. However I run the 3mm chassis inside so it doesn't bother me. The car rocks on asphault and carpet. Can't believe it took me three years to see the light and buy an XRAY ![]() ![]() |
