It does'nt, at least if it does I can't find it. The Ultra Tune Tower is only listed as an option for the older cars or the 1R. If it does fit, what relation are the two additional rows of upper shock mounting holes in relation to the standard FK05 mounting points? Are they higher, lower or both? |

Hi Is there a reason why you wand to use the old shocktower? The old on has the problem that it breaks very easy in a hard crash. Normally the original from the FK´05 will work best. Alex |

Hey Will XRay shock shafts work with the TRF shocks? I tried to get some TRF's to work on my XRay with no success. ASt: Could you post the Tamiya part number for either A) The plastic dampers or B) The shock shafts? Thanks -Dan |

The shock tower does fit ![]() ![]() Blackkat, I can get the TRF shocks on and working fine. I have used a 20mm x 3mm screw at the top, with a Team Associated front hub bush passed through the upper shock mount, and then used the XRay lower shock mount, with the XRay spring collars. The range ot hieght adjustment and droop adjustment is still severely limited, but is OK for me as I only race at one venue and I can get a set up I like and leave it. |
