Hi guys quick question. I only run stock. I just put my car together and have not run it yet. Should I leave the belts the way is says in the instructions maual or set them one notch looser on the front and back? They feel a bit tight. Thanks |

I think thats up to you, Mine has been left on the standard notches. They also feel tighter than my old cars. You could just try one notch in. Just watch out for the clicking sound or strange sounds when running ! ![]() |

With the rear diff in the middle position, I have my rear belt as loose as it will go, I have the front belt one notch from the loosest (word?) setting. I run stock and 19t and have not had any skipping problems yet, not even under heavy braking. |

I initially ran mine as kit, running stock and rubber tires on carpet. I found it too tight and have now got both belts as loose as they will go. Just as long as I keep checking the belt and pullies for dirt build up I have not had any problems with it skipping. James |

If you run modified I would leave them in the middle positions as the belts will stretch a bit during your first couple of runs anyway. With 19t or stock you may want to go one notch more loose. |
