I'm using an old Evo2 which has ball pivot steering. I recently ripped off the right wheel at high speed on a low wall. I bought the left and right steering blocks but the silver hex hub that holds the wheels on to the car does not fit all the way through the steerer block. Is there a different hex hub size now? and if there is a new sized hex hub do I need to change the length of my front dog bones to make every thing fit? Also anyone got any good cheap ideas on how to get some dodgy screws out of the Evo? |

The axle and hub design changed to use the same axles front and rear on the EVO. The original car had shorter front axles and longer wishbones and drive shafts. sounds like you have an original style axle on a new hub. Try exchanging the axle at the shop. Or you always try flogging it on Ebay. To be honest, the best option for you would be to buy the C hub conversion pack. |
