XRAY - Model racing cars

How can a product be sold with such a poor spares back up?
I have been waiting 2 months for some drive shafts for my FK04.

I am almost willing to buy a new car (not Xray) at least i will be able to get some spares for it!

hello, im from germany! i waited also for about two month on this sparepart. this, in my opinion, isnt the problem of mirage, more of xray itself! they concentradet on the new car to produce all parts. also the drive shafts.
normally all spareparts are in good stock here in germany.
so dont be angry about this story!

Before you bad talk about the distributor you may want to check with XRAY either it is your local dealer or the distributor or the manufacturer who is is shortage on parts. Please remember that there are thousands of parts and XRAY keeps an astonishing high fill in rate on all orders but simply sometimes some parts may get temporarily into shortage.
Last time there was a big complain about the distributor but then it was found that the dealer even did not order the part for the customer while both Xray and Mirage had the part in stock.

I can make you sure that in case XRAY has a part in stock, then Mirage does have it as well. If you are missing a part, please email to support@mirageracing.com who will let you know if they have a part in stock or when they will get it.

The drive shafts were out of stock for some time and also the wide top deck is out of stock, therefore Mirage could not have them.
The layshaft pulleyes are not problem to get and I will check with Mirage if they have them. Please email XRAY at support@teamxray.com with the parts you have been looking for and the shop where you ordered the parts. As in any other cases, I am sure we will work out the issue and you will get all the parts you have been looking for.

hi mario, thanks for he reply so quickly. the shop i use assures me they order the parts and hold a stock.some parts will arrive within 2-3 days this is better than some main stream garages get.the problem is that they dont get the complete order they get and when they spoke to mirage part of there order had not been recieved(faxed over). even tho a receipt was taken from the machine as received. i have tried to get in touch with mirage via email but have no contact to use. i did keep an eye on there online stock and the pulleys were out of stock for ages. i dont mind havin to buy the low ratio pulleys coz its improved the car no end, its just frustrating. once again thanks.ian

Then email to support@teamxray.com with all the parts you ordered, where and when you ordered them and advise which parts you have problems to get. I know that staff at Mirage does an excellent job. and I am sure we will get any parts you look for if they are available at XRAY's stock.

If you're struggling for spare parts try Demon Power Products. They have loads! Even sorted me out a 2.5mm chassis for me FK05.

There was an insident involving my car being at full speed (with a 9x2) and sombody turning on on the same fequency. Nearly made a hole in Bedworth race control!
