I ran the 3.0mm chassis last night (and the wide top deck but as I forgot to order the additional posts it was not fully connected - actually I did'nt forget, I just assumed that they would be included when ordering ) I ended up starting with a lower roll centre but otherwise the same set up as I had used with the standard chassis.
It was obviously over sprung (if thats the correct terminology) with the car chattering at the front through medium turns. I reduced the spring rates by 5lb front and rear and it felt much better. No problems with grip, changed direction superbly, turned into corners with great speed, but traction was reduced out of hairpin turns. Something to work on for next week What would you suggest, changing the damping?
