Hello there Joep when you buy the spring steel wheel axles make shaw you get the right size as there are two different sizes because the t1 car came with the pivot ball suspension the standard wheel axles for the front of the car were shorter and so when they made the spring steel ones they had to be made smaller and these are the ones which are discontinued i think and in the later cars because they were using the c hub suspension made the wheel axles longer i know that the fko4 uses the longer ones as does all the cars uing the c hub suspension i know you can get hold of the whhel axles but you will have to ring around a few different places as some might not have them i am not shaw on part numbers for these items i know that xray had them on back order a little while ago now so maybe Tonyv or Mario might be able to clarify this for and give you the part numbers for them Hope this has helped you Ben ![]() |

The Spring Steel Wheel Axles are not discontinued. You probably looked for the short ones which were used on the pivot ball suspension. For the C-hub suspension go for the Joep - get the old Set-up book for EVO2 where on the end of the book there is illustration how to remove the alu wheel axles after a crash when the material blocks the bearings and does not allow them to be dismounted. I will put this on To Do list and add it to the FAQ thread. |
