hi all, hope you can help.to me my car felt great but still wasnt the quickest,is there anything you would change to get it going faster, motor speed is good,i think im looking for a bit more corner speed,i was running 28ry compared with the 32ry on the fastest car, could there be 4/10ths in a set of tyres,? i destroyed the fronts in 2 runs, but qualified 2secs off my summer pb,so ive made a huge improvement in lap times with the new car,the 3 guys around me only recently used to lap me so im actually getting used to cornering as fast as we do,so the times could be in my driving,im working on consistency more now
thanks for any info
ps im car 4 in the finals,it rained just before the second final

Softer tires will definitely help improve your laptimes if track temps aren't very high.

I usually don't like to use a heavier front shock oil. We tend to use same or even a harder rear shock oil by 50-100 cst for a more stable feeling on entry, and more stability in chicanes.

It says in the set-up sheet that the track had medium traction. If traction is medium may I suggest that you try 2.5-2.8 springs both front and rear? They will give the car a more aggressive feel, with improved steering as well.

Lately I have been using less toe-in, especially on asphalt. Try to use 2.5 or even 2 degrees. Try this in combation with more rear camber.

thanks alex, its just a case of fine tuning now which is where i struggle,im going to try the 2.5 rear toe next time out to see if itll hold up to a 50mph banked sweeper
and the springs i had fairly good success with them on the front in the past havent tried them all round before
