Post subject: | T1R chassis + servo |
I have purchased a T1R chassis in order to install it with water proof electronics and in case of rain to just swap the chassis. Unfortunately, I can't fit the servo on the provided holes! I have tried sanwa's ERG-VR and Ko's 713, any ideas? Thank you Nick |

The easy option is to drill new holes. You will need to countersink the bottom to get it flush, us a 10m drill bit in your hand, turn it slowly till the screw head can sit flush. A countersink bit on plastic doesnt work very well as they are designed for wood. Servo tape. Thin stuff like the "selotape trim tape" about 0.5mm thick . not the thick white foam stuff, thats hopeless. Or you could glue it in place with those glue sticks.(this is what I did with my wiring) The type you can peel off when you need to. The glue has an almost candle wax feel to it. |
