I just build my shocks of my T4 2014 and the balls in the shocks ends bind. This happens on all 4 shocks and the balls are positioned like the manual say. With the shinny side away from the flange. The upper balls move free in the shockcaps with latteral play. |

Hello, Could be that you put them to far on THE Schockshaft for once. THE Schockshaft is then pulling THE Schock Ends a little out wich Will cause THE binding. If you have some new Schock-Ends try them and fit THE ball, then check with Every turn if THE ball still moves freely until you reach THE correct length. Greetz, Eric |

Just give the plastic around the ball a pinch with some pliers little at a time till they free off it just stretches the moulding slightly if not overdone |

I like to leave about 1mm of the shaft thread showing at the bottom before the rod end, that way I can guarantee being able to get the amount of droop I require no matter how much ride height I'm running. |

Thanks guys. It was indeed the shockend that was too far screwed in. Anyone knows the ideal length for the shafts? |
