Hi there, I am new to touring cars but I have recently seen many racers using shorty lipos. In most cases they look very nice on the car because they free up quite some space and they let you place the receiver or the ESC at the other side of the car. So, my question is. Is there a disadvantage with using shorties? I think they have smaller capacity but it is still enough for the 5 minute runs. Any other disadvantages? Thanks! |

I think voltage drops faster which means its less punchy. Might be hard to get the weight balance right. You might need to add some lead to the battery side of the car to have it even. |
