This has probably been asked before but i couldnt find a thread

Im thinking of getting a gear diff for the front. So question 1- does it make a huge differnce over a spool? This is the track i run at

More specifically, will it make enough difference to cover the cost of th diff?

Next question-what oil should i run? Im thinking 1 million. What do you think?

Also do i need the spring steel outdrives as recommended?

Outdoors the popular one seems to be 2000cst. I have tried 700, 1500 and 2000 and prefer the 1500. Using a spool at the front. But it does depend on you, your track, your setup and even conditions on the day although I have never tried to optomise on the day.

Ok thanks. I run kit 700. Iw ill order some 2000 to start, see how that goes. Any one suggest for the front?

I run Gravity 2.5 million in my front diff - either 2000 or 3000 cst in the rear

GRC 2.5 million or putty in the front diff. The benefit of using a hard front differential is usually more mid corner steering and a milder on-power steering. This can be a good option for certain tracks. Personally I have found big use in a diff for tight and twisty carpet courses.

For the rear, 2K-5K depending on the surface and tire. 2K is a good starting point, and you can go harder from there, to improve your on-power steering and forward traction.
