Hi I found a load of oil on my rear suspension arms so thought the shocks were leaking. They felt like no oil was in them so i opened them up. What had happened was the c clip that holds the piston onto the shock shaft had fallen off so the piston was not doing anything in the oil. Has anyone had this happen to them? Also how can i stop them leaking? |

I hardly ever have to replace the oil as it doesn't seem to leak out much. If the clip came off in the shock it wasn't quite on properly in the first place. |

Ok thanks. The weird thing is though they were fine on friday during practice on a 2 day race weekend. They felt fine. I built the car 8 months ago and they fell off after over 100 runs-both at the sams time. Weird! ![]() |

Thanks. Also do you run the foam insert above the diaphram? What effect does this have? And how much rebound should i run on a high grip indoor track? 0%? |

I can't remember what the foams are supposed to do, but I don't run them anymore. I also run no rebound everywhere so it's easy to get the shocks the same every time. |
