Hi all. Does anyone use a Velcro strap? If so what size do you use? I have tried to use the graphite strap but I'm getting far too much play in the battery and the pinion on the motor is marking my lipo so I've taken the graphite strap off |

The majority of racers use battery tape. This gives a very secure fixing without tweaking the chassis. To hold the battery in securely with a velcro strap will require it to be really tight, which will tweak the chassis. |

Yep thats the idea, tape it to the chassis. The tape goes through the slots in the chassis, under the chassis and over the lipo. That tape is quite thin and has less fibreglass compared to the more expensive stuff, but should be fine if you chamfer the edges of the chassis slots so that they're not sharp enough to cut into the tape. I use the Hudy tape which is very strong and very sticky. With Lipos costing the best part of £100 per pack it's probably worth the extra cash for some decent tape: http://demonpowerproducts.co.uk/product ... eel-p-2131 |

My patients have found the Velcro straps to be very easy to use and adjust, especially those with arthritis in their hands. I have appreciated the constant updating to the products with new offerings and improvements to the line every season and look forward to continuing to offer the shoes to my patients for many years.I have been offering patients Orthofeet shoes for 6+ years and my patients, both diabetics and non-diabetic, have found them to be comfortable and stylish. |

That's right that is the way to go, tape it to the suspension. The tape experiences the spaces in the undercarriage, under the frame and over the lipo. That tape is very flimsy and has less fiberglass contrasted with the more costly stuff, yet ought to be fine on the off chance that you chamfer the edges of the skeleton openings so they're not sharp enough to cut into the tape. I utilize the Hudy tape which is exceptionally solid and extremely sticky. With Lipos costing the best piece of £100 per pack it's presumably worth the additional money for some OK tape. |
