Post subject: | Wet to dry - a setup question for Tony |
This is a question for Tony really but any feedback would be appreciated... In preparing my car for coming national I have set it up as per your set up. The weather forecast is still looking as though it will be wet - but if it is not what would be the first things to change on arriving to give me a good starting point for a dry set up? I guess what I am asking in a different way is - what are the main aspects of the set up that are aimed specifically at wet conditions that should be addressed first if it is dry? Thanks in advance Tony Rob |

In the dry I would change the following: - a bit more downstop, try 1mm more front and rear (so 2.5 and 1.5) - lower ride height (assuming there are no big bumps), 5mm front 5.5mm rear - use a true additive (e.g. Tire Tweak or LRP Asphalt), not just a cleaner Other than that the setup should be ok on a tight asphalt track. |
