I am building a T4 for the first time. I'm confused how the lower shock point mounts to front arm. Do you simply remove the 8mm grub screw and thread it through the shock ball joint back into the arm after deciding if you want to add a shim? I'm running on asphalt so is a starting thickness of shim recommended? Sorry for this newbie question! |

the 8mm grub screw stays in the arm, the pivot ball has a hex in it so you use a 3mm driver to unscrew the pivot ball which leaves the grub screw in the arm. Not very clear in the instructions but works very well in practice ![]() on asphalt I am using 1mm shims to space the top of the shocks, nothing at the bottom. |
