@Team drivers please have a look at my setup I got to this weekend at practice for the South African national championship to be held in 2weeks time and give your comments. The first thing I had to do is get the car to behave better over the bumps down the straight and into some corners. Then I had to get some more steering on throttle around the sweepers. Changed from the 700cSt diff oil to 1000. It help a lot around the long corners but I need a bid more. Will 2000 do the trick or will that be to big change. Or should I change to 2000 and if I get to much steering rectify that with a bid more droop in front or raising the roll center.

Ive added photos of the track. It has however changed a bid since the photos. The straight extension has been completed and it connects up with the bach straight with a slight kink.

Your comments will be appriciated.

Thanks
Wouter

Perhaps fitting a 1.3mm front roll bar to get back some of the steering.

Running 2.5 rear and 2.5-2.8 front progressives seems to be a good combination as well.

And yes, 2000 in the diff is generally the lowest most people run.

Skiddins

P.S. I'm not a team driver

Do you have links to any video of TC's on that track.

I've never run that much ride height, do you have any droop at all?

1mm of uptravel in the front is not much. I would suggest to increase that. 2000 rear diff is a minimum for good on-power steering on asphalt, the car will also accelerate better in a straight line which could be useful over the bumps.

Thanks Skiddins and Alexander, I'll try your suggestions, but first thing I'll do is the oil and a bid more front droop. What is your normal range for front droop on asphalt? Will a more help with the bumps? The ride height thing, I started around 7 bud the car continues to bottom out so I moved to 8. Help a lot because the car get very unsettled if it bottoms under hard braking. Don't have any videos but will try to get some this weekend at pre-nationals. Thanks again
