I always remember reading 'Springs control how much, damping controls how fast' The thinner oil should allow the car to react quicker, but it can make it more difficult to drive. I have been running 350 oil outside and 450 on carpet. Skiddins |

Less damping will increase the weight transfer, making the car more reactive. The car will have a quicker direction change, and will drive better over bumps. The overall traction is increased. |

Thanks, does the oil affect both shock compression and return as well as the spring or one or the other? i.e would i be right in saying that during a corner say you had the same spring rate, thicker oil would slow/slighlty harden the suspension and thinner would slightly soften but speed up the suspension? thanks |
