Hi, I was wondering when racing on carpet how much clearance you give the bodshell to the ground?

When using a ride height gauge I usually aim for around 10mm all round but was wondering if this was too much?

High enough so it doesn't rub on the ground.
It will vary depending on how stiff your suspension is.

Everyone with an xray will all run fairly similar in stiffness and roll, (roughly). Out of interest how much clearance in millimeters do you give your bodyshells all round?

Looks like the sides of mine are around 9mm, but I could probably go down 1 or 2mm.

Never measured but I raised the body 1 step from what the instuction book say and cut 2-3mm above the cutting line on a lctr.
That is about the lowest possible with standard setup.

When watching the car from the side I eyeball it so that it should be in line with the chassis. The front, cut the lip away until its not rubbing.
