Post subject: | help with setup needed |
i have setup my xray t3 to the book and have now started to play with set ups. i have used for example some of the carpet setups on the website for running on carpet. the problem im having is when i set the droop to the say 6 on the front and 5 on the rear when i come to set my ride height the car is at around 7-8 with the shock collors all the way up so when i want set the ride height to say 5-5.5 i cant achive this. any thoughts on this. if it help i am running on an indoor carpet track which is now going to be less technical and more flowing and on rubbers if anyone has a good setup for this i would be much appreciated |

The best way to start is the basic set up. Now i can't understand what springs do you use? This is not normal with 6f & 5r droop not to get 5 or 5.5 mm height...Something is wrong at your settings:-) Tell me everything for your car and get some pictures to help you. |

Are you sure you are using the measurements correctly? When they say 6 front, 5 rear, they are using a droop gauge, not 'over ride height'. Like this (ignore the rear upright, it wasn't attached) |
