Hi to Everbody from the south of Spain. I bought reassontly one T4 . Is a nice car in general bud now i have some question about Set up and Tire recomodation. At the moment i have following items: Motor 3.0 4,5T speedpassion with Reventon Pro, Gearration 7.98 with ride 32 Tires. I run the car only on Asphalt bud the trck is in the Mountains and is quite cold these days and on top of it a lot of dust.

The car was adjusted to the Asphalt Set up sheet bud the result was not what i expected. No Grip at all. i changed to ATS Foam tire and the car was like i expected in the beginning. The only problem is that the kit version dont work with foam tires because the wheel inside is scraching the Schock Clip. I have my daught that the extended Wheel Hubs with 0,75 mm are enough. I need some help to enjoy this nice car and if some one have a good recomondation for an 10,5t stock set up on Asphalt.

Our Track is build for 1/8 so is quite big.

If tyres are open, and the temperature is cold, then a softer tyre will be the first change.

Try Sorex 28, these work very well. When it's really cold in the UK we go down to Sorex 24s or 20s outdoors which give good grip even in the middle of winter.

Also, that's a lot of motor for low grip conditions. Go for a higher wind and run more boost, you'll get the same speed on the straight but it will be much easier to drive.

First of all thanks for the quick respond. Just to know about the tires i tryed the Marc reinhard aditiv for asphalt bud i dont know if i using it the right way.

First i clean the rubber with Break cleaner
second i brush the liqiuid on the tire
third i wait for 25 min and put the tire heaters on by 60 deg.

is this right ?

my other question was about the expiriance of wheel offset by using Enetti or Matrix Foam tires. I think they have to be 1,5 mm is it right ? or is it better to use 0,75 mm in combination whit the new 2 holes rear suspension arms ?

Dear Alex,

thanks first of all for the replay. So after some time on two dif. track one small one the other still the back i tryed dif. set ups with foam tires and after i changed the dif. oil to 2000 is mutch better and i put the rear shocks up ( more straight) so the back end fits more less.

Bud with the sweeps 32 i still have my problems with tracion and set up. I use 10,5 T stock and 4.5 T combo .

The 10,5 T i run this combo with an gear ration of 4.89 . do you have any recomondation for an setup by using the 4,5 T combo

You are having these problems because you are running 30 mms in the rear ;) Just use all 26mm foams (those are fronts on a 1/10 nitro), front and rear, and everything will work great ;)
