Post subject: | Camber Difference Setup station and quick camber gauge |
Hi, I am using the Hudy 1:10 TC Setup Station and by using a Hudy Quick Camber Gauge I noticed that the measurements I get with the Hudy Setup Station are 0.5 - 1.0 higher than with the Quick Camber Gauge ( meaning Hudy Setup Station -2 corresponds to -1 to -1.5 on the Quick Camber Gauge). Does anyone have an idea what might be the reason for the difference? I m running a T4 with CPX tires. Are the values the team drivers give in their setup sheet those measured with the Setup Station or with the Quick Camber Gauge? |

I think as long as your measuring on a true flat surface with the setup stands then this would be the most accurate measurement. |

From HUDY set-up station to "regular" camber gauge, there is a difference of +0.5 degrees usually. For example 2.5 degrees on the HUDY gauges will equal 2 degrees on the camber gauge. |

Hi Alex, thanks for your response. Thats pretty much the same difference I measured. Are the values that you give in your setup sheets those from the setup station or regular camber gauge? |
