Went to Newbury last night and the car was ok but I'm sure there's a lot more that can be done to it. I was hoping someone could watch the race and tell me what they think.

Not worth watching the first 1 minute 30 , I was driving terrible and the car felt loose mid corner on throttle but it seems to improve and goes completely.

I'm the white car, 1st on the grid.

I honestly don't see anything in your setup that is far different from mine.

Qualified 7th (blue with yellow and orange stripe)

My front diff is up, 2.7 rear springs
3deg rear toe
short rear link (you haven't filled that out)
0.00 pivot blocks all round (you haven't finished filling those out either)

Have you checked that the wishbones move freely on the pivot pins etc?

Skiddins

Not too sure what pivot blocks are but everything is standard apart from the diff oil. Using the short link aswell.

The car is driving good, a lot of driver issues at the start of the race. Seems I have to wait for the additive to wear off a little bit before it drives good. Just thought someone might be able to see if there is anything I can improve.

Everything is sound on the car in terms of binding etc.

So far, very impressed with the T4 and it's getting better and better every run.

Looking at your setup i would recommend........

+ Put the rear toe back to 3 degrees, you dont really want to have more than that.

+ Lower the rear pivot block back to kit setup which is zero all round not +0.75 at the back.

+ Increase the rear camber to 2 degrees to make the rear more stable and better grip on mid to exit.

+ Lower ride height to 5mm all round or increase the droop 5.6 and 4.6 as with your current ride height and 6 and 5 droop u've probable got no droop at all which will make the car a bit difficult to drive.

Hope this helps!!

Sounds like some good changes Matt. Going experiment more with the pivot block because my lap times was faster with this set up.

Cheers buddy

The rest are all 0.00

I'll generally do 2 slow laps before the race/heat begins.

If you want to get heat into the tyres quicker definitely try slightly more droop front and back and perhaps lower the inner turnbuckle links to 1mm front and back to give the car more camber change and therefore more grip!

To me your car looks a bit loose in the rear on-power. To make it more stable I would suggest you to try 2.5 linear springs front and rear. A 1.3 or 1.4 rear anti-roll bar should help too.

To get more overall traction (the track doesn't have that high bite), you can lean your shocks down 1 hole both front and rear, as well as to increase your droop (downstops 5.6 in front and 4.6 in rear).
