what effect would top ball link arm length have on how the car drives? eg is longer better than shorter and the same front to rear??? |

From what I can gather: Shorter front more camber gain increases traction but will have a tendency to suddenly break away. Longer front less camber gain less traction but smoother transition so does not break away Shorter rear more traction but as front can suddenly break away Longer rear less traction as front but obviously with less traction can give u the feeling of more steering but not a rear that suddenly over steers breaks away I am not an expert and may have explained wrong, I always put faith in my xray set up book. Have a read through it does give good advice. J |

What you wrote above makes sense. Usually a longer front link compared to rear gives very good mid corner but less turn-in. A shorter front feels more reactive and turns in better due to the additional camber gain. |
