Hi I want to ask about Gear diff oils. Traction is low at our track and I am using 700 Diff oil at rear. Car is good but problem is my friends using higher diff oil like 1200 or 2000 and their cars are more stable and fast. But when I am using higher diff oil, my car loose from rear I mean its sliding from rear at corners and its hard to drive. So I think I am doing something wrong on my setups. Could you advice me any setup with high diff oil and for low traction please ?
Thanks

If you fill out a setup sheet as much as possible and post a link to it here, people might be able to help more. :)

This is my setup. I use this setup usually with some changes, depending on the track layout.

This could just be a case of driving style/how much steering is being applied. Also depends on when is the back end breaking away? Corner entry, mid or corner exit? All these situations require a balance of throttle/steering. I would try running a shorter rear camber link (inner mount, outer hole) and also reduce that inner shim from 1.5 to a 1mm shim. This will induce more negative camber gain

Ok, Thanks for reply. So I need more practice. I will try rear chamber link.
Thanks again!

When you try 2-3K in the rear diff, try also the following changes:

Harder rear anti-roll bar

Spool in front

Anti-dive in front +0.75mm

Rear downstop 4.6

All these changes together should make the car work with the harder diff oil!
