The new 4 hole 1.1mm pistons have a larger hole area than 3hole 1.1mm in the old pistons (when compared to the surface are of the pistons) by around 10% |

Pretty sure the manual covers the starting point... You can go from there with the effect changing one variable will have on your suspension (thicker or thinner oil, more or fewer holes, larger or smaller holes), so the setup book will still be valid as it explains what happens when you change things. Smaller holes is akin to using a heavier oil or fewer holes. Oil viscosity and number of holes also relates to the static and dynamic damping of the shock absorber. There's more to it than I have time to go into. No doubt there are others that can chime in. |

Yes the manual has the starting point of 4 holes @ 1.1 but no fine tuning tips I feel xray have dropped the ball by not doing a set up book for this car |

The theory is always the same and therefore you can follow T3 set up book. There is really no more information that we can provide, therefore we did not make T4 set up book. |

A lower CoG will make the car more reactive and it will naturally have more cornerspeed. The car will not overheat the tires as quickly due to excessive chassis roll. The car will be more responsive to set-up changes. |
