Hi, I use to run a T3'12 this year but I'am up to use a old rain-ready t2009 this week-end for the french national cup because of the weather. Apparently it will rain all week-end long. Do any pro driver can help me to set-up the car ? I heard : downstop screws should be removed Shocks as straight as possible on the outer hole is it true, is it wrong ? but what about ride height/camber/oil/front and rear toe... thanks for reply ! regards |

Will the track only be wet, or will it have lots of puddles? |

This is for a 009 with large puddles and proper wet tyres; In action, my car is dark blue with a yellow and orange stripes (you don't see it much); This was for the same conditions, but we had to use slicks; If it's just damp, make the front track width narrow and the rear track width wider (either wheel hexes or spacers) and sometimes a heavyweight bodyshell can help force the car to roll to get the tyres to work. I remove the roll bars as well. You can use one on the rear if it's only damp and there is enough grip. It is a 009, just with a cut T3'11 top deck. Skiddins |

When a lot of water (puddles) on the track, try to use more droop front and rear. No anti-roll bars, more chassis flex, and higher ride height. These are the basics. And build a box for your speedo/RX to protect it from the water! |
