I just bought a t2 008 eu rubber spec roller. Would I still be able to run with foams ? |

Thanks for the reply but was looking for a little more detail. Will it handle substantially worse ? What's the main difference ? |

I didn't run TC back when there was still a T2 separation for US foam and carpet cars and EU outdoor rubber, but if I remember correctly these cars had different springs and different chassi thickness. The foam car had harder plastics. I run my T3 2012 with foam tyres outdoors and it's one of the best cars in our championship, and it's by no means a foam car  So with the right set up, there will be very little difference between a T2 rubber and a T2 foam car on foams

The foam spec was made for high traction carpet where you need a very stiff and rigid car so that it stays consistent even under extreme traction levels which the foam tires gave. For foam tire racing on asphalt for instance you might as well use the EU spec as it would probably handle better than the US spec under those conditions. |
