I agree. If you still have the standard FK04 chassis you might want to run that with the standard top deck or if the grip is higher the wide top deck. This seems to work better with the CS27's. |

Tony, I doesn't have the standard chassis anymore, so do you recommend using the flexible top deck(from evo2) to start with? Or I should look to find an old chassis. I use sorex 24 tires wich give me more traction than the cs27. Thanks |

Tony, just to keep learning.... I'm now using the 301180 'Flexible Top Deck - Graphite' and I also got 301170 'Ultra Flexible Top Deck'. And I don't seem to have the standard wide one. Which of the 2 is preferable on the EVMC-track and what would the 'ultra' bring me? Thnx in advance.... |

What I have tested and noticed is that with stiffer or wider upper deck you get more steering when going in with fast speed(like after main straight, but still being stable, and little bit understeering when going out of the corner. When using softer deck, you get less steering when going in, but more when going out, and the car is not that stable as with thicker one. But remember that the chassis' thickness is important too and affects to how the car perform. Hope this helps. -Vesa |

I find the ultra flex doesn't help my driving style, it seemed too just create random instability, my chassis is probably tweeked beyond belief. |
