Hows it going fellow XRAY forum members! New to the forum and glad to be here. Registered to the site to ask a few questions! I would love it if a few of the serious XRAY racers could chime in as well! ![]() SO... I got ~$200 to kill on a new servo. I really would LOVE to buy the best of the best even though it might be considered WAY OVERKILL lol. I assume running at 6V .06 or .07 is pretty quick? How much tourqe is needed to run in a indoor carpet track? Will the car perform better with a "low profile" servo? What are you pros using? Brands/models ect... Nothing on the set up sheets for some reason. Thanks again for all the help! car = T3 12', |

I guess it would be best to use the same brand servo as your transmitter if you have the budget and the choice of any servo. I for example have a DX3R with Spektrum receivers and Graupner servos in all the cars I compete with and I'm very satisfied with Graupner servos. |

I use a Futaba 9550 servo with my Sanwa MT4 with no problems. I have the MT4 set to a higher frame rate on the steering channel to take advantage of the servo's speed because it's digital. Been running the servo for years now. A good servo is a worthwhile investment as it will inevitably be moved from car to car. |

From personal experience, anything above 70usd, and you'll probably won't notice any difference. |
