XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi has anyone tried the Ride/Moorespeed tyres (I believe they are the same but please correct me if I'm wrong) and what changes did you have to make from when running Sorex?

Are there any simple changes that have made the setups comparable, like less droop or more camber etc or has it been more complicated than that.

I ask as when I tried some Ride 32's (red wheel writing, Re32, P/N 26007) on asphalt back to back with Sorex 32RY's they seemed to make the rear of the car a little looser on some corners.
The profile of tyre appears a little more 'square' than the profile of the Sorex's aswell.

Also, has anyone tried the Re32 with the foam insert (26011) outdoors?

I tried mine today, but the RP27(again) and they were still loose. I tried various changes but I do not think it is down to setup changes. Admittedly they do last longer but the overall grip is just not up with the Sorex tyres. Well not on low to medium grip tracks anyway. Car also wheel spins(same setup as Sorex) a lot which to me says more than just setup changes. Maybe the thinner 2mm chassis will help, which I am still trying to get hold of!!!

I am sure the fan boy club of RP tyres will have something different to say.

I run the Ride's 36 for outdoor but have no comparison to other outdoor tyres yet. Overall I really like the Rides as they last quite long. Their grip is nice, too, at least that I do not feel a necessary change. The only thing I noticed (maybe because of the T3R chassis and deck) was that I needed some time to set the rear axle to follow the perfect front axle in a smooth way.
