Post subject: | Wing position |
Hello everybody. In july I have an important race. I have a new mazdaspeed lightweight body. The track is asphatl outdoor, anf middle-high speed track. I put the holes of the body the maximum front position (the chasis is more back position). It supose it have more steering. And now I have a question about the wing. I think that people put the wing to the max back position permited, correct? But If I put the wing little bit more forward, Will I get more steering? What do you think about it? |

you should get depands on speeds on the track i think that we should forget about kinda tune ups like aerodynamics we arent good enough to see those changes we should concetrate on cars set up BUT,yes, should be more steering because there will be less load on rear |

Thank you Stanley, but I think as Skiddins aerodinamycs is too important. Ok Skiddins thank you very much. I will try to put the wing for forward for get more steeing and less rear grip, about all in the middle of the corner. Regards. |

The wing position makes a really big difference. Normally, you can't go wrong if you position the wing so that the front lip is in line with the actual wing mounts on the bodyshell (Protoform Speed 6, LTC-R). |
