Ok im running Orca 4.5T RX2 with Vrittra Pro Spec Mark 2 ESC and just purchased a temp gun, now just wondering what is a good temp to be at after 5 mins racing? and what is not a good temp to be at? and the cut off point as not to burn the motor or damage it. if anyone can advise me on this it would be great many thanks.

Is there not any data on the leaflet supplied with the motor?

I have been told that Orca team racer, Adrian Berntsen runs it at approx 90 degree Celsius.

My son Finn used the RX2 4.5 T with VRITRA VX last weekend at ETS in Apeldoorn NL. Temperature was 92 degree Celsius, speedo and motor worked absolutely fine.

So, normally a modified motor had no problems with temperatures about 90-95 degree Celsius.
