Has anyone experimented with moving the weight of the lipo forward or back. The weight of a lipo is usually around 20g difference front to back so by positioning the plugs at the front should give a different weight bias to if they were positioned at the back.

Does anyone know how this will affect the car, should you always aim to get an equal weight bias front to back?

I too would like to know that.

I think if you put the battery to the front, you equally the weight for the front to the back. If you put the battery in back position, the car will be more steering speed, because have less weight to transfer.

My opinion :-)

Did a lot of testing with this. Plugs to the rear makes the car easier to drive. Less entry but more exit steering. The plugs forward makes more turn-in and will feel more aggressive but also more taily (recommended for some asphalt tracks).

I have experienced exactly the same as Alex described this last weekend.

Turning the battery around so the plugs were at the front made my car 0.2s faster per lap over a 13s lap.

Up until last weekend I had been running Deans with my packs the same way for 4 years.
