Hi, What is the best option for mounting the servo, is it sticking it down with servo tape and removing the post altogether or using the new xray servo mount which removes the outer mount and also raises it slightly? Will you notice any benefits with removing a servo post when racing? |

The new mount is a very cool idea, but I have to imagine it's possible to crack the upper brace on a hard hit. I personally have the servo glued on with shoe goo and have the inside post attached, so there is no numb on the outside of the chassis. |

The benefit is mainly to have even flex left and right. The brace is very durable. I have been using prototypes, and they didn't break in hard crashes. However, when I have mounted my servos with sho-goo, they have sometimes come off in hard crashes, for example on indoor tracks where boards are used as track markers. |
