I have noy had to replace my arms on my t3'11 (honestly). I have carried out upgrades on it to make it a t3'12 in any event. I was wondering what the new arms do different to what I already have. Are they a good option for outdoors - that is where I primarily run my car. I have the 2mm chassis BTW.

I think they're made for high-traction conditions mainly but with the thinner chassis you also have more grip on asphalt so probably you would benefit from them there, too. If I wouldn't have the T3R chassis and topdeck still, I would try them, too.

I find that in the UK the tracks tend to have pretty low traction in general, so I may just save my money for now.

The new arms are better for most conditions. They give the car more cornerspeed as they are lighter and stiffer. It is especially evident on asphalt surface. They are more fragile though, which is the only downside. Yes I did use them at the last ETS race in Poland and also at all other major races in 2012.
