Hello everybody, I have a question for all the team drivers, apart cleaning-gum, which oil do you put in the front gear diff? Thanks Valentin Lehmann |

OFNA makes a diff lock fluid, if you can find 1,000,000 cst, or more commonly 500,000. (500k isn't quite stiff enough and can still diff out under power, which is why most have moved to putty). |

I tried 500K before but it was too soft. I always liked the cleaning gum more. When I use oil in the front diff, it is too unpredictable on-power and has no good feeling. |

There´s one thing that i don´t understand. With Cleaning Gum in the Front Diff isn´t that nearly the same as driving with an Spool? Doesn´t the cleaning gum block the Diff? |

It still has some diff action, if very little. The heavier front axle (diff instead of spool) also has an influence on the handling of the car. |
