Good evening, When a motor is too old, do you recommended buy a new motor? or only the rotor? The motor is lrp x12 10.5. Thank you very much. |

It might be best to use a gauss checker to see if the rotor has lost any of it's power. Skiddins |

Stardard LRP rotor the X12 comes with should measure 1300 gauss. If it is the original they are prone to losing their strength quickly. The replacement LRP units last much longer and generally the lifespan of the motor. Hope that helps. |

1300 gauss seems fairly typical, my Thunder Power's (with red rotor), Reedy's and the Speed Passion MMM I had were all around 1300. I seem to recall my early LRP's were around 1400-1500 Skiddins |
